Guess who's car is broken again... MINE! *rolls eyes* As C kindly pointed out, it was exactly a year ago the poor thing broke down too. Apparently it and Harry Potter's birthday don't mix. Happy Birthday Harry, by the way. C thinks it's crazy, but whatever, man. I grew up with that guy. I still remember being so so so excited when I got Prisoner of Azkaban for my birthday, my very first HP book that was all mine! *HP nerdiness over*  Wait, just a little more. Haven't been on Pottermore in awhile, but I'm totally a Ravenclaw. Awwwwwwwwww yeah. Testify. Anyway, back to my life. So C had another game today. He even caught a touchdown pass, yay! And yes, I could tell it was a touchdown, for those who are wondering from the last post, haha. But his team still lost, unfortunately. Although the next team playing after him had two guys I used to caption for all the time when I worked sports captioning, so that was super weird. I felt like I should b...

2013 In Review

Seeing as it's the last day of 2013, I figured I would reflect back on my year, and unfortunately, as my readers, you are forced along on the journey with me. Ha ha ha! So we start with... January January was pretty fun. I retook the first half of OChem (which sucked like every other time I've ever mentioned OChem), hung out with the awesome half of my apartment (remember back when I lived with the crappiest people in the world??? SO glad that's over...), saw all the guys from Kid History in person, and played a lot of Just Dance. Me and my roommates like drawing comics...Yeah. February February was a rough one (read: boys suck). I was again grateful for my good roommates and friends. I don't know all that much about what happened in February...A lot of studying at the kitchen table, eating microwave popcorn and Pringles. Ooh, and those red cinnamon gummy hearts they sell at Macey's during the Valentine's Day season. Dang, those are good. Let's s...

Biopsies & Busted Cars

Well friends, it's been awhile, and thanks to the "gentle proddings" of R, I have decided to update yet again.  What's up. What's new with me, you ask? Well, a few things. Media Day went really well. Got to see my favorite football coach EVER like 20 feet away from me talking to all his old quarterbacks before recording a live broadcast. Probably one of the top 20 moments of my life. He is really funny. You wouldn't think it from his demeanor on the field, but he's got quite the sense of humor. Media Day and Dress up Tuesday were fun because bosslady was gone, so we got to hang out and be chill. I got to talk to some of my cool coworkers for awhile without getting dirty looks shot at me or "work, please" thrown in my face. Awwwwwwwwww yeah.  "This is me...Hugging you...Over the airwaves...mmmmmm..MMMMMM...mmmmm" +10 points if you you can tell me this episode! Anyway. So work was more chill, but she came back on Th...

Mondays & Mechanics

Today was semi-eventful, I guess. A few things of note happened: I went and got my oil changed, and while I was waiting, I made friends with a little kid. Which is a big deal for me, because I get really nervous around little kids and don't really like to be around them all the time, but this one was cute. Him and his dad and his older brother came in and you could tell the dad had been through the wringer, he just looked dead. Mom must have been on a girl's weekend away or something. But anyway, this little kid runs right over to me and tries to share his drink and his popcorn with me, and just keeps jabbering the way little two-year-olds do. He was covered in stickers, and I mean covered. Oh, and then a train came by.  Kid's dad: "Look guys! A train!" My new friend: [gasps and smashes his face against the window] "TRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN!!!!!" So that was exciting. Usually little kids don't try and make friends with me and this one did. It was p...
