Jupiter Ascending: A Review

Image
So yesterday was essentially the weirdest day of my whole life. Bar none. We'll start with THIS randomness that went down yesterday.  Click here! You will not be disappointed!  Between that and that "Is the dress blue and black? Gold and white?" Me and Callin are totally #goldandwhite, by the way. THEN me and W went to see Jupiter Ascending, which was everything I hoped it would be and sooooo much more. So much more. It is just as ridiculous, derived, and poorly-written as everyone says, but oh my gosh. Do yourself a favor and go see this movie. At the very very least, you will be entertained. So many favorite lines from this movie, I can't even. Here's a small synopsis. This is Jupiter Jones (hence the title...) PS, my eye shadow is perfect. All the time.  Jupiter's dad got murdered in Russia by an angry Russian mob trying to take all their money. Jupiter is born on a ship on the way to America. Now fast forward like 20 years. Well friends, it's a Thursday and I have to be at work, so I look like this whenever people approach my desk: What do you want? Why are you here? Can I go home yet? And I also say things like this: But other than that, it's fine... In other news, I just finished season 6 of this glorious show, which means the end is nigh. I really need to slow down my P&R intake... That makes five whole seasons watched in like three weeks. Which really isn't too bad, considering how fast I went through GG. I start to feel bad if we're at a volleyball game and we win in three sets to none. I don't know why.

It's February!

I mean, I love wearing sweaters as much as the next person, but I'm just so tired of being cold all the time. Ugh. And it wasn't even that cold! January was also a stressful month. Finances are tight, and applying for grad school is not cheap. Three apps are in and one is almost done! We're just waiting on a letter of recommendation and we're good to go, which feels awesome. It was a lot of hard work to research, apply, and get everything done. I almost don't know what to do with myself now that it's pretty much all in the hands of the universities. Aaaaaaand we won't know for probably a couple of months whether he got in or not. The suspense! Are there some good things about January? I guess so... Men's volleyball is back in town, and because January was the Month of M we never got to go to any, but this weekend we're hitt
