What is this?

...Well, friends,  all your wildest dreams have come true. Katelyn has started a blog. That's right.

Um...I'm not really sure what this blog is, so let me tell you what it isn't:

• A blog about cooking: Yeah. Cooking is great. I love people that do it. I'm not going to be posting all my "latest and greatest!" recipes on here, so don't worry about that.
• My boyfriend. Sample: "Well, blog readers, here I am alone on another Friday night...wishing I wasn't...blah blah blah" Yeah...no. Pathetic has never really been my style.
• Full of complaints (linked to above point): "Yeah, my dog just died and I just failed all of my classes and my computer just exploded and I'm out of Honey Nut Cheerios and my roommate threw away my string cheese and I tripped and broke both my legs and I'm out of shampoo and I cut myself shaving my legs and ... and the world should know how terrible my life is!" *sigh* Don't you hate those people? Why would you want to read a blog like that?
• A design blog. I'm not a designer. I'm a biologist. I'm also a closed-captioner and a piano teacher, so some of those stories may creep in there, but I'm not constantly going to be like "Look at this awesome thing I did!" Because a lot of the time...it's not really that awesome.

So I guess the only thing I can guarantee is that this blog will be 100% Katelyn...So we'll see where this thing takes us, shall we?
