Just Throw a Brick

Christmas Break is an amazing time, probably my favorite of the entire year. I get to bum around at home, make treats and eat food that I didn't have to buy/make, wrap presents, hang out with my sisters, and just relax. There are a few things, however, that Christmas Break is incomplete without (at least at our house...) Hallmark/Lifetime movies. My sister loves Hallmark. And by "loves" I mean "can't live without them and if you delete one that she's DVR'd without telling her you've single-handedly ruined Christmas".  Peanut brittle. Every year since I can remember, my mom has been making peanut brittle. I don't think it's ever been one of my favorite things, but it's fun to see it every year.  Christmas books. ...Well, friends,  all your wildest dreams have come true. Katelyn has started a blog. That's right. Um...I'm not really sure what this blog is, so let me tell you what it isn't: A blog about cooking: Yeah. Cooking is great. I love people that do it. I'm not going to be posting all my "latest and greatest!" recipes on here, so don't worry about that. My boyfriend. Sample: "Well, blog readers, here I am alone on another Friday night...wishing I wasn't...blah blah blah" Yeah...no. Pathetic has never really been my style. Full of complaints (linked to above point): "Yeah, my dog just died and I just failed all of my classes and my computer just exploded and I'm out of Honey Nut Cheerios and my roommate threw away my string cheese and I tripped and broke both my legs and I'm out of shampoo and I cut myself shaving my legs and ... and the world should know how terrible my life is!" *sigh* Don't you hate those people? ...
