Day 1: Boise

Well, I'll blog my trip for you guys, since my total views got to 1000 this week! That's awesome, guys! For not advertising my blog on Facebook like everybody and their mom that's quite a lot of hits. Granted, they were mostly from like three different people, but that's okay! 1000 views!

So, today we drove about six hours to Boise to stay in my cousin's house while they're gone. It's way nice. Tall ceilings, grand piano, beautiful rooms, beautiful view...I want a house like this one day. I'll put up some pictures soon.

Movie count: 2 (Step Up and Miss Congeniality)
TV Episode count: 2 (Pilot and episode 2 of Chuck)
Snacks consumed: Many, but not limited to pretzels, Goldfish, Sour Patch Kids...
Annoyance level: moderate (due mostly to lack of space and our inability to get our DVD players to sync)

So all in all, not too terrible a day. Idaho is boring country at the moment. Drove through a storm, that was fun.

Oh, and speaking of storms, we had a giant one last night! I haven't seen lightning that intense since I lived in New Mexico! It was crazy - the thunder and lightning were INSANE. Insanely awesome, that is. I love storms. Hate driving in them, but I love watching them.

But back to the journey. Tomorrow we make our way to Oregon, and to the city we're going to it'll be about a seven-hour trip, on a Sunday (code: we can't just watch movies all day and wait to get there, we have to do Sunday things, whatever that means...) I am already sick of sitting in our dang car for hours on end. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh. Especially with all girls, our conversations can get...interesting...

Doesn't exactly fit, but I just love this part...

Well, here's hoping we all don't kill each other tomorrow...

Me occasionally on this trip

Another random BBT for the road?

Best part ever.
