Guess who's car is broken again... MINE! *rolls eyes* As C kindly pointed out, it was exactly a year ago the poor thing broke down too. Apparently it and Harry Potter's birthday don't mix. Happy Birthday Harry, by the way. C thinks it's crazy, but whatever, man. I grew up with that guy. I still remember being so so so excited when I got Prisoner of Azkaban for my birthday, my very first HP book that was all mine! *HP nerdiness over*  Wait, just a little more. Haven't been on Pottermore in awhile, but I'm totally a Ravenclaw. Awwwwwwwwww yeah. Testify. Anyway, back to my life. So C had another game today. He even caught a touchdown pass, yay! And yes, I could tell it was a touchdown, for those who are wondering from the last post, haha. But his team still lost, unfortunately. Although the next team playing after him had two guys I used to caption for all the time when I worked sports captioning, so that was super weird. I felt like I should b...

PMGU #2: Support

Here's another Post-Marriage General Update category (PMGU, if you didn't pick up on the acronym from the title, I'm lazy and didn't want to type it all out this time.) Today's topic: supporting your husband when he does weird things you don't understand. It happens. Today specifically, I'm talking about that weird thing guys do to make themselves feel tough, manly, and vaguely Bear Grylls-like... That's right, flag football. Flag football? Yeah, I get it. Just stay with me. Okay. So I've been to football games. Many football games. Want proof? Here! See! Proof! I'm at a football game! With M! And I'm smiling! (And no, I wasn't smiling because we'd just gotten Costa Vida...) So yes. Football. I get the general gist of the game. Offense, defense, touchdowns, rah-rah-rah, annoying cheerleaders, over-pampered student athletes running around with a ball, big fat Polynesian guys on defense mowing people over, trying to get the...

Post-Marriage General Update #1: Adjustments

Hey everyone! I, KM, is now KMO! I mean, it's not like on my driver's license or anything, but we have a marriage license that proves it and everything! It's unreal.... When you get married, everything changes, and yet nothing changes at the same time. I just live with my best friend now, instead of with four of my good friends, and I won't lie, it gets a little lonely sometimes. C has a full-time job with a moving company so he's gone most of the day, and I'm currently looking for a job. It's hard to be alone all day. I never thought I'd miss having a job but I miss the social interactions. Oh, and a reason to wear real pants. I swear, I live in basketball shorts these days, and it doesn't help that C owns about ten pairs of them, so I never run out of them. It's reached a bad point. My mom commented the other day to C that "you have to be careful that K doesn't let herself go... I haven't seen her in real pants in a few weeks......
